    About

Being active and always making the best of oneself, be it physically or intellectually, whatever the circumstances is what Agy lives for. Having battled long term health issues, she has gone from the peak of her fitness to barely being able to walk and so she knows exactly what it’s like to start with absolutely nothing and build yourself from there against the odds: both mentally and physically.

I’ve been in the fitness industry since 2005. Qualified in Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi Personal Training, GP referral and level 4 exercise for people with obesity and diabetes

I have worked with people with special needs, but I also believe that each person has their own individual needs. I develop bespoke personal programmes for each client, depending on their requirements and fitness levels

My approach in training is to help you become physically and mentally healthier. I work alongside people to improve injuries, weaknesses or imbalances and to strengthen muscles in order to develop and maintain a good posture.  I introduce safe and sound patterns of movements for your back and joints, useful for everyday movements and for specific activities.

    Quality versus quantity

The quality of each movement is more important than the quantity of moves, whether by repetition or weight loaded.

    Variety versus specificity

Doing a specific repetitive exercise is known to cause injury and goes against nature.

Breathing: the soundtrack of your training.

All training should be performed in coordination with good breathing.  Training without good breathing can be dangerous and can influence the quality of your performance.
