Amateur boxing 'know how' combined with full body conditioning.

Do You want to learn the fundamentals of boxing? Get fit? Reduce body fat %? Learn a form of self defence? Improve your motor skills, all whilst achieving that desired improved body composition? Then this is the class for you!

So what is involved in a typical class?

First and foremost you'll learn to wrap your hands properly to ensure they are fully protected and give you that inner confidence to go that little bit harder. Boxing fundamentals:

Correct feet positioning, hand positioning, how to throw the most important punch... the jab!, combination punching, footwork, head movement, shadow boxing, kettlebell training, agility ladder, core and lower back exercises.

Class outline:

- Warm up - Dynamic Stretching.

- Pad Work & Parrying - The real HIIT training begins! 2 minutes rounds interspersed with 30 / 1 min rest. After the desired rounds have been achieved (of course I work within everyones limits) it's circuit time.

- Circuit - My preferred Kettlebell, agility ladder and core exercises on rotation. This includes some specific pilates exercises to protect and strengthen your lower back to fend off any of those unwanted issues later in life.

- Cool Down - Static Stretching with my 'Top To Toe' approach.

Brazilian martial arts that combines dance, acrobatics and music. All levels welcome!

Want to get some serious exercise but cannot motivate yourself to do it alone? This class is perfect for you. You will do a range of full body resistance and cardio exercises for the entire body to get your heart rate up and build strength and muscle tone. A number of exercise stations will be set out and the group will move through each exercise performed under times conditions with small rest breaks in between. Sometimes the class will be performed in the studio and sometimes on the gym floor to make use of the cardio equipment. Strength and conditioning will involve a similar style of exercises also with emphasis on gaining strength as well as endurance.

Help lengthen tight muscles and strengthen core muscles. Also stretch your body, calm your mind and allow any aches and pain to ease away with the routines we provide.

The practice consists of poses, positions, specific body exercises and breathing exercises, the ultimate aim being spiritual purification and self understanding leading to a union with the divine. Welcome to a life changing journey. The benefits of practicing yoga are well documented and include improved breathing and stress relief, increased strength and flexibility, inner calm and a sense of sublime peace to name just a few.

The Sculpt fitness class is a full body strength and conditioning session, using aerobic, pilates and dance techniques to sculpt and chisel your body like you’ve never done before. The key is to use small movements and light equipment to focus on form and alignment toning every single muscle in your body – even those you never suspected you had! You will get great music with the class and you’ll be sculpting and toning your body fast!
