Great news! Fybre will be reopening on Saturday the 25th of July!
In line with the government guidelines, we will be implementing a number of measures to ensure safety of everyone attending our premises.
The usual opening hours remain.
If you have experienced any covid symptoms in the last two weeks, please DO NOT attend Fybre.
Please use the sanitising station located on the table in the courtyard before entering.
Please keep an eye on posters for information about social distancing and conduct on the premises.
Please wash your hands regularly.
Please sanitise all equipment before and after use.
Staff will wear face coverings where appropriate. Any staff showing symptoms will be sent home immediately.
Individual customers take reasonable responsibility when attending the premises.

Please arrive in your kit and shower at home. Showers and lockers will be out of use unless needed in exceptional circumstances. Please do not bring valuables. Entrance to the basement loo and sinks – one person at a time.
There will be no towel service until further notice.
Hair dryers will be out of use.
Cash payments will be avoided.
Doors will be kept open to ensure good ventilation, depending on weather conditions or if doors shut, air conditioning systems will be in operation.
Water fountain is available to fill bottles only. Please do not drink directly from any taps.
Music will not be allowed beyond a volume at which normal conversation is difficult. This is to ensure there is no shouting and thus spreading aerosol droplets.
Spectators are not allowed. Chaperones must wait outside in the courtyard.
Strict limits on numbers on each floor to maintain social distancing. Equipment may only be used where 1 metre between participants can be maintained. Fybre has moved some equipment to aid spacing.
Due to limits on the number of participants in an enclosed space, Fybre will implement a booking system for all three floors during the peak hours. You will be able to book from Sundays for the coming week only. The booking will run at :30 past each hour in the mornings and evenings during the week to the following format on each floor:
Monday – Thursday
6.30am – 11.30am
5.30pm – 9.00pm
6.30am – 11.30am
8am – 1pm
No need to book on Sundays and off peak times.
Maximum capacity on each floor:
Basement – 8
Ground Floor – 7
First floor – 6
Maximum capacity takes into account the latest social distancing guidelines as well as activities that require a range of movement.
When booking, please ensure you give your FULL NAME to allow us assistance with Test and Trace.
Please email reception at firstname.lastname@example.org on Sundays for the week ahead indicating time and which floor. The system will apply to personal trainers too. In the event that you turn up outside of booking times and your preferred floor is at maximum capacity, you will need to use one of the other available floors. We don’t envisage this to be a common occurrence as those times have historically always been much quieter.
A number of pieces of equipment including two bikes, the rowing machine and a selections of free weights will be moved to the first floor.
The basement will be furnished with screens in between the main pieces of cardio equipment.
In the interim period, until at least the beginning of September, Fybre will keep a limited timetable with most of the classes remaining virtual. This will ensure less traffic on the premises for those who attend the gym, more space for them to socially distance and those who expressed interest to keep doing their workouts from home for the foreseeable, can continue doing so. Please ensure you check the most up to date timetable. We will start with a small number of studio based classes (in addition to the virtual ones) to begin with and assess the situation continually and adjust depending on demand. We envisage more interest in studio classes from September as children go back to school. Due to overwhelming number of membership cancellations and long term suspensions, we are unable to reopen with a full timetable but we are eager to return to it as fast as possible as members return to Fybre.
Mats and equipment to be cleaned by participants before and after use.
There will be no back to back classes to reduce traffic.
Customers not to cluster in groups before or after classes.
Booking for classes from Sundays for one week ahead only.
